New Melody

The technology changes rapidly
But we stay unchanged
I'm brain...

There were typewriters

Michel, my farther
Who was a secretary
He typed.. he typed.. in a computer he typed..
I read and understood
I typed what he understood

I'm tom a programmer
I read and understood the problems
And again typing by using my hands
I type.. I type.. and implement the solutions..

We type tap.. tap.. tap..
We type toc.. toc.. toc..
In each method we type
tap.. toc.. tap.. toc..
In my office together we type..
tap.. tap.. toc.. tap..
And creating a new melody..

The Dog

Suddenly I saw a couple of eyes looks familiar
A Dog on the street
Sitting down and carefully looking at the street
People came, got close, went away
He was still, watched each one carefully,
with the eyes which can see only black and white
Emotions were full of his face
It seemed he was waiting for some one
I thought that "A Dog, waiting for his master"

I walked towards him, while looking at his eyes
He looked at me
I saw the reflection of me...

Today my dearest student asked me a question

          “Are you rich ?”

I was little bit confused. And I answered, “Yes”. So.. he got the answer and without questioning anymore, continued what he's doing. But I was still confused. When I went home, I recalled that and thought.. “Am I really rich”

          “Yes”

My heart answered me.

The dictionary definition for the word “rich” is

          [1] having much money or many assets.

          [2] containing a large amount of something specified; abundant

Again the dictionary definition for the word “assets” is

          [1] a property with money value

          [2] a useful or valuable thing, person or quality

So.. my heart is correct. According to the definition rich[1];assets[2]; yes I'm rich. And definition rich[2]; also prove I'm not guilty with my answer. But I'm fail with most famous definition of “rich”.

Eureka... Since I'm not guilty, I can induct that every man, woman and child in this world are rich.

While someone being rich of rich[1];assets[1]; another being rich of rich[2]; or rich[1];assets[2]; such as poverty, hungry, loneliness, love, passion, creativity.

This is a rich world.

ඉපදි ඉපදී මැරි මැරී හදවත තුළ

වර්ණවත් කරන්නට යලිත්,
වඩින තුරු දියසෙන් කුමරු
සිටියෙමි කල් මරා…
උපන් දියසෙන් කුමරුවන්
තිඹිරි ගෙයිදිම මැරී යද්දී
කරන්නට නොවූයෙන් කිසිවක්
රැගෙන සටන් පාඨ
බැස්සෙමි මහ මගට
ලෙහෙසි නැත,
නිරුධක කතරකි එය
සිරුරෙහි වදින දිය පොදද
ආත්මයේ මිල ගනී…
කතා බහකි, ලොකු වාදයකි ඊටත් වඩා
අවසන සම්මුතියකි දිය බිඳකට
තෙමුණ දෙතොලින් ඉදිරියට තැබූ පියවරකි
දැක සතර අතින් ඇදෙන මහ පිරිවර
සිතට නැගුණ ලොකු ප්‍රීතියකි
සුළු මොහොතකි…
පිරුවට ඇඳ දත් විලිස්සමින් උන් එන්නේ
දුන් දිය බිඳේ මිල ගන්නට බව දැන
ඇති වූ මහා කළකිරීමකි
දැන ගනු තොප,
වීරයා මැරිලා ගොඩක් කල් බව…
කරමින අදර රකිමින මෙරට
නොසැකසුව හොත් පරිසරය
වඩින්නට දියසෙන් කුමරු හට
නොවඩිනු ඇත එතුමන්
රකින්නට තොපව
මේ ගෙන්දගම් පොළොව මතට
වඩින්නට පෙර මහා බෝසතුන්
මෙ මනු ලොවට දිව සිට
බැලුව බව පස් මහ බැළුම්
අමතකද තොපි හට…
