හිරු එළිය වෙන්න (Be the Sunshine)

ඇයි මේ තරහා වෙලා,

මූණත් තඩිස්සී කරන් ඇසුත් රතු කරන්.

ඕවා ඔහොම තමයි.

අඬනවා.. හිනා වෙනවා.. තරහා වෙනවා.. යාළු වෙනවා..

ඔක්කොම අපිත් එක්කනේ.

ඒත් මගේ යාළුවා පොඩ්ඩකට හිත රිදුනත්,

තරහා වෙලාම ඉන්න තරම් අපේ ජීවිත දිග නෑ

අමතක කරන්න.. අත හරින්න.. හිනා වෙන්න..

ආදරය දෙන්න සීමා නැතුව,

මොනවා හම්බුනත් ආපිට.

හිරු එළියක් වෙන්න ගනඳුර දුරලන.

හිනා වෙන්න කඳුලු නොදී,

හැමදාම ඉර පායනවා වගේ..

The face becomes pale. Red eyes must be crying all the night

That's how life. Take it easy.

We cry... and smile again. We fight and become friends again.
